Teachers’ Training Program: Empowering Educators as Changemakers

The Teachers’ Training Program by Sociopreneur Indonesia is a systemic initiative designed to strengthen teachers as agents of change within education. By integrating entrepreneurship education, digital literacy, and financial literacy, the program equips educators with the mindset, skill set, and tool set to create meaningful learning experiences and real-world impact.

Developed as a response to structural challenges in Indonesia’s education system—such as teacher shortages, limited professional development, and low welfare—the program positions teachers not just as instructors, but as leaders who drive innovation in classrooms and communities.

Through a six-month training model combining experiential learning, mentoring, and project-based implementation, teachers transform their teaching practices into more contextual, student-centered, and impact-driven approaches. The program has demonstrated strong results, including high participation rates, improved competencies, and the creation of school-based social and entrepreneurial projects.
