Her Suharyanto is a strong believer that empathy and story play substantial role to improve the quality of community, organization, and society, no matter the type and the size. Empathy and story have motivated him to jump into various social activities as well as to enjoy his works on writings and trainings. Since early 1980s, social activities, teaching, and story writings has become so fascinating playground for him. His social activities are mostly related to young people, education, and literacy.
On professional side, teaching and writing have become lifetime playground as well as laboratories for him, where he can run various personal experiments on story and empathy, especially on how the combination of the two could contribute improving the quality of business, community, and society. Her holds Bachelor of Educational at Sanata Dharma University Yogyakarta – Indonesia, Bachelor of Theology at Wedabhakti Pontifical Faculty Yogyakarta – Indonesia, Advance Journalism Course at Thomson Foundation – Cardiff Wales, and Jakarta Insurance Institute (non-degree)

- Writing books including on former Indonesian Vice President Boediono, Cooperatives of Balo’ Toraja, Indesso, Labor Poverty and dozens of more books under the scheme of ghostwriting (2000 – present)
