SociopreneurID’s Executive Director, also the Head of the UNESCO Entrepreneurship
Education Network (EE-Net) National Chapter of Indonesia, Dessy Aliandrina, attended the 10th UNESCO-APEID Meeting on Entrepreneurship Education in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The event was an enriching experience, focused on innovative practices and strategies to nurture entrepreneurial skills, particularly among youth. Key discussions revolved around digital transformation, social innovation, and sustainability. This year, the UNESCO-APEID Meeting on Entrepreneurship Education was very special, as it was a tribute to Dr. Gwang-Jo Kim, a former director of UNESCO Bangkok who believed in the power of entrepreneurship education to prepare future leaders. Following the vision of Dr. Gwang-Jo Kim, the growth of Entrepreneurship Education through UNESCO, a result of Dr. Libing Wang’s leadership and dedication, has been truly inspiring.
It was an honor for Dessy to represent Indonesia as a national chapter at the 10th UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, together with eight other national chapters. The diverse backgrounds of the delegates, each sharing their unique entrepreneurship education practices, truly made it a global community event. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Alfraganus University for their warm hospitality and for recognizing our commitment to entrepreneurship education.
