In November 2010, Niki completed his doctoral studies at Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT) and then returned to Indonesia. Currently, Niki is a lecturer in the Physics Engineering Department at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN), as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics.
Niki’s scientific research field is the latest ceramic material technology, including the utilization, manufacturing process, and properties of cutting-edge ceramic materials. Research and community service in renewable energy, especially the process of generating solar power, have also been carried out.
Some of the research results have been published in various international journals such as the Journal of Sol-gel Science and Technology, Synthetic Metals, Journal of Ceramic Society of Japan, Journal of European Ceramic Society, and Applied Surface Science.
After exploring the basic knowledge of material engineering processes and gaining knowledge and experience in management research activities, Niki wishes to share and expand his knowledge and experience in research and academic education in Indonesia
Apart from researching and teaching, Niki is also interested in developing science education, especially for children. Niki believes that fun science education for children will make a significant contribution to children’s self-development. Niki holds on Dr.Eng. in Functional Materials Engineering at Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT) – Japan, M.Sc. in Materials Science at Science University of Malaysia (USM) – Malaysia, B.Eng. in Materials Engineering at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) – Indonesia
